NikaTime's story begins with Nika, our dedicated Studio Manager at Impossible. She found it tough to keep track of project hours and had trouble with reports and mistakes. One day, Nika ran across an article about cool bots colonising Slack. Nika thought, if people at Impossible are on Slack all the time, why not take advantage of that and create a Slackbot that would track people's time at projects instead of her?
Nika saw the change and got developers involved during Impossible's Hackathon Friday. They created NikaTime, a Slackbot that welcomed employees and reminded them to log project hours. Over time, NikaTime became a 24/7 helper, making reports for accounting and showing project progress.
NikaTime made things easier by taking away manual time tracking, so employees could focus on their main work. Nika was finally free from the struggle of managing timesheets.
